Kick-off of Work package 4

GEXTRECS partners have kicked-off work package 4 “Ground Segment Engineering and Synergies with Space Programme Components” which will prototype innovative technological components in the Ground Segment and assess the specific components from Space Programme (Copernicus, Galileo/EGNOS, SSA) suitable for synergies with a GOVSATCOM Crisis Management Service Pack.

The objectives of this WP are to make an integrated use of an existing and appropriate Copernicus based product for End-Users in the land and in the maritime use cases and to prototype an appropriate Galileo based service for End-Users in the land and in the maritime use case. 

The work package will last for 21 months and is led by project partner GMV-ES.
